Got a chance recently to do some art for a Matthew Dear show. Playing on his reputation as being on the more cerebral side of electronic dance (in addition to his downright doe eyed, brylcreemed, gin sipping alter boy appearance), I got the Constructivist juices flowing and chopped off the less important parts of his head. I wish I’d had more room and scale to work with and made the thing 65″ tall and not 17″, but you work with what you have.
